Livingston Western Glass S-Glass Rods Wrapped by Woronoco Custom Fly Rods
One of the hottest new glass rods on the market, Livingston Rod Company’s Western Glass in 8’6" length and #4, #5 and #6 line weights are sweet rods. Despite their name, these are great for bigger water anywhere. With Western Glass you can fish indicator rigs, streamers, and big searching pattern dry flies. I am also told they are excellent for drift boat fishing too.
The Livingston Fly Rod Company rolls these blanks with 100% unidirectional S-glass which produces a rod with quicker tip recovery than is possible with e-glass. I currently offer Western Glass builds for $595. Each comes with a matching rod bag and tube:
8’6” #5, or 6 weight, 3 piece in unsanded black, or white (clear).
My Livingston builds are available in a combination of reel seats and grip varieties, and line weights according to the tastes of the client for the same $595 value.
