Jenkins PLG Fiberglass Series
Several years ago, bamboo rod maker, Steve Jenkins developed a proprietary e-glass rod he designated PLG. Although they are no longer made, fiberglass rodders in the know, covet these rods for their smooth glass action, and fish fighting power. My version of the PLG is appointed with elegantly understated fittings including aluminum reel seats with wood inserts, AAAA hand-turned cork grips with cinnamon and old gold nylon wraps.
