Fly Rod Grades
There are two ways you can buy a rod from me; you can purchase an On-Hand Rod that I offer on my website, or you can order a Commissioned Rod that is custom built and outfitted to your specifications.
I build On-Hand grade rods with quality components such as anodized aluminum reel seats, AAAA cork grips, and agate, ceramic or chromed stripping guides. Wraps and color choices can be nylon, or silk, and guides are usually chromed Pacific Bay snake guides, and strippers.
Commissioned rods are built to the client’s wishes including particular rod blanks, styles of grips, reel seats, agate stripping guides, etc. Wraps can be nylon or silk in the angler’s choice of colors. The price for a commissioned grade rod varies with the components selected.
All rods come with a matching bag and tube.
